What I really need to do....

Is to figure out how to mess with the light balance on my camera.  I mean, who wants to always be looking at "yellow" pictures like these...

Sewing Kit

Believe it or not, that fabric that the sewing kit is laying on is a bright white.  No, really it is.  Horrible isn't it? I know my lighting was off.  I haven't found my "right" place to take pictures.  Is there such a thing?

What's that about lighting?  I need more lights?  The right lights?  What are the right lights?  These are all questions that I will be exploring in search of taking "GREAT PHOTOS"

Happy Crafting,

Boot Camp

I can't believe it, I am actually going to boot camp.  A military boot camp you ask?  No not me, but I found a wonder boot camp at www.calicogals.com.  You scroll down the opening page to find the information.

Can you imagine, nothing but sewing from 9 am Thursday to 5 pm Saturday.  No husbands, no children, nothing but you and your machine.

I was so excited about it, I told my mom and guess what.  She is coming too!!! She and I live in two different states, granted not days away from each other, but we just don't do the things we used to.  I miss our Mother/Daughter times we had.  This is going to be one great big mother/daughter time.  We are already planning what to bring.

What is that you say, "Already planning?", oh this boot camp isn't until August.

(Is it August yet?)

The hotel we are staying at looks wonderful and has gotten lots of great reviews.  She and I are staying in a Double room, which has a bedroom with 2 queen beds, a living room and a full size kitchen, dishwasher and all.

That is a picture off of the hotel website.  Picture is taken from the kitchen.  Looks homey for when you aren't sewing.  Breakfast is included every morning, and a light dinner in the evening.  Not to mention we are close to other eateries too.

I do wonder though, how many projects can I get done in that span of time?
